A high level research activity ensures the teaching programme remains well-suited to the evolution of knowledge and the industry’s needs.
Research shapes the national and international image of the school through the publications and patents it produces and the interactions it generates.
Recognized by the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) and the INRA (National Institute for Agronomic Research), and supported by many industrial groups, the research at the A7 is at the same time academic, attached to knowledge enhancement, and eager to promote industrial applications as well as technology development and transfer.
It operates mainly on the basis of contracts with the regulating bodies, the Midi-Pyrénées region, the European Union and industry. Contracts account for 50% of the research budget.
